Delete Your Plant Rescue Account

You can request deletion of your Plant Rescue account and associated app data by emailing us. Please include the email address or sign-in method linked to your Plant Rescue account. We may ask for additional information to verify that you are the account holder.

What We Delete

When your request is verified, we will delete or anonymise your Plant Rescue account profile, saved rescue cases, uploaded plant photos, diagnosis attempts, provider-derived diagnosis results, clarification answers, progress updates, app analytics linked to your account where deletion is technically possible, and subscription entitlement records that are not required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or regulatory purposes.

What We May Retain

We may retain limited information where necessary for legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations; fraud prevention and security; resolving disputes; proving that we handled your deletion request; or maintaining records of subscription transactions that are controlled by Google Play, RevenueCat, or payment processors.

Where we retain information, we keep only what is necessary and restrict its use to the relevant purpose.

Subscriptions

Deleting your Plant Rescue account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription.

To cancel a subscription, use Google Play subscription management on your device or Google account. If your subscription remains active after account deletion, Google Play may continue to manage billing until you cancel it.

Timing

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within one month. If a request is complex or we need more information from you, we may take longer where permitted by applicable law and will tell you if that happens.

In-App Deletion Path

Google Play requires apps that create accounts to provide an in-app path for users to initiate account deletion, as well as a public web resource. Plant Rescue provides a link to this deletion process from inside the app.
